USB Programmable Smart Vibration Switch

IMI Sensors - a division of PCB Piezotronics, Inc., launches the all new, industry exclusive Model 686B01 Smart Vibration Switch from IMI Sensors. The electronic Smart Vibration Switch is versatile; fully USB user programmable, competitively priced, and directly replaces most popular mechanical vibration switches. The Smart Vibration Switch requires only two wires for operation, which eliminates the need to run additional cables, and with Remote Reset Anywhere^TM, climbing your cooling tower to reset a tripped switch is now no longer necessary. The Smart Vibration Switch also provides a significantly lower cost solution for many electronic vibration switch applications requiring single relay operation.

The Smart Vibration Switch includes an embedded piezoelectric accelerometer for accurate vibration measurement and monitors velocity for more consistent results; conveniently operates from a universal power source (24 to 240 VAC or VDC); has programmable delays to avoid false trips; is hermetically sealed for use in the harshest environments; mounts using a single stud; can be used in hazardous locations. Also, the exclusive MAVTTM feature automatically sets the alarm threshold level based on the current vibration level.
