Sr. Programmer Analyst

We are currently growing and in need of a Production Technician, to join our team members, in Depew, NY.

Requirements:

Minimum of a four year software engineering, computer programming, or computer science degree. A business degree coupled with equivalent training and experience may also be appropriate.

Minimum of five years’ experience specifically in a database programming, systems analyst, or equivalent position is required. In addition, project management experience with a structured software development lifecycle approach is required. Microsoft SQL programming experience required. Experience with Infor Syteline ERP version 8 and higher preferred. Experience in a SOX compliant environment a plus.

Excellent writing, communications, and collaboration skills. Duties may involve occasional stooping, crawling, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Occasional travel to various worksites may also be required, depending on assignment.

PCB is involved in the development of technology controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. For the purpose of our compliance with U.S. Export Control laws, U.S. citizen or permanent resident/green card is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

PCB Piezotronics is adding a Sr. Programmer Analyst focused on supporting, enhancing, and expanding our Global ERP system. Candidate should have a strong background in all aspects of ERP from Order Entry, to Inventory, to planning, to Shop Floor, to Financials, Security, etc.

Responsible for interactively working with business units to solve problems or enhance business processes by developing custom programs or reports utilizing commercial off the shelf tools. This is a senior level position, employees are expected to have mastered the technical expertise required for performance of a wide range of systems development activities. Performance at this level is demonstrated through completion of work assignments with a high degree of independence. May provide assistance, mentoring or work direction to other programmer/analyst. Cooperates as a team member of the Information Technology Department.
