Accurately Measure High Frequency with PCB’s latest Low-Outgassing Triaxial Accelerometer with TEDS

Introducing PCB's Model 356A19 Miniature, High Frequency Low-Outgassing ICP® Triaxial Accelerometer with TEDS

February 9, 2023 - Depew, NY - PCB Piezotronics (PCB®) is introducing our new Model 356A19, a Low-Outgassing ICP® triaxial accelerometer designed to make accurate high frequency measurements to 13 kHz (±5%) It is the latest addition to our family of miniature, triaxial accelerometers in a 0.4" (10.2 mm) cubicle package.

Model 356A19 miniature, ICP® triaxial ceramic shear accelerometer features:

  • Wide frequency range of 1 to 13 kHz (±5%)
  • Resonant frequency ≥ 55 kHz
  • Sensitivity of 10 mV/g
  • Measurement range of ±500 g pk
  • TEDS capability
Model 356A19

The TEDS (Transducer Electronic Data Sheet), which complies with IEEE 1451.4, is located within the sensor and includes data such as the serial number, sensitivity, and the last calibration date.

The small size and wide frequency range make the 356A19 ideal for modal and structural analysis, use in thermal vacuum environments, vibration testing of satellites, automotive ICE and EV powertrain development, vehicle systems NVH, and vibration testing in confined spaces or on small, lightweight objects. For additional applications, please talk to your PCB representative.

The 356A19 features a hermetically sealed, 0.40 inch (10.2 mm) cubical housing with 5 feet (1.5 m) integral cable to a 4-pin ¼-28 pin connector. A 5-foot mating extension cable to BNC Plug termination is a supplied accessory. A version without an extension cable, Model 356A19/NC, is also available.
