February 20, 2026 - Depew, NY - PCB Piezotronics (PCB®) announces the new Model 3753A triaxial variable capacitance (VC) MEMS accelerometer designed for stable performance in demanding test environments. The compact screw-mount sensor features an integral IP67-rated cable, excellent temperature stability, and a wide input power range supporting flexible installation across a variety of measurement applications.
Model 3753A features an amplified VDC output and internal electronics supporting 5 to 32 VDC input power without affecting measurement accuracy. Excellent temperature stability, with ±1% temperature coefficient of sensitivity and ±1% FSO zero-g offset temperature coefficient, helps maintain consistent measurements across varying environments. The sensor is available in full-scale ranges of 2, 5, 10, 20, and 40 g to support a variety of dynamic test requirements.
The anodized aluminum housing measures 1.0 x 0.75 x 0.35 inches (25.4 x 19.1 x 8.9 mm) and weighs 12 grams, delivering three-axis measurement in a footprint smaller than many single-axis devices. Internal damping and rugged construction provide survivability up to 5000 g shocks, helping protect the sensor from handling damage during installation and use. Combined with IP67 sealing, the 3753A is well suited for outdoor and harsh-environment testing.
Applications include automotive ride quality and Road Load Data Acquisition (RLDA), flight simulation and flight testing, structural monitoring of bridges and foundations, rail ride quality measurement, and motorsports testing.
