PCB's Newest UHT-12™ High Temperature Pressure Sensor has Hazardous Area Approval & Can Withstand Temperatures Up to 1200°F (650°C)

Introducing PCB's Model 176A07

June 13, 2023 DEPEW, NY - PCB Piezotronics (PCB®) is introducing our new Model 176A07, UHT-12TM High Temperature Pressure Sensor. The 176A07 is a UHT-12 hazardous area approved design with a temperature rating of 1200°F (650°C).

Model 176A07 features:

  • UHT-12 sensing element, a proprietary crystal designed for more accurate, lower noise measurements at elevated temperatures
  • Wide temperature range from -94 - 1200°F (-70 - 650°C)
  • High dynamic range for high amplitude acoustic measurements (up to 725 psi)
  • Intrinsic safety, IECEx approved

Model 176A07 is a single ended charge mode sensor, which is radiation hardened, submersible (with fully hermetically sealed cable connection), and is electrical case isolated. It is an excellent choice for manufacturers of rocket motors, steam pipe monitoring, thermoacoustic measurements, and general combustion dynamics applications.
