Introducing our new ICP® piezoelectric blast pressure probe: Model 137B29B
November 30, 2022 - Depew, NY - PCB is introducing our new Model 137B29B, an ICP®, piezoelectric blast pressure probe designed to make accurate measurements in applications where microsecond rise time is essential.
The sensor provides a high 200 mV/psi output and low 0.002 psi resolution, both ideal characteristics for lower ranged blast applications. It also features high resonant frequency and fast rise time. It is ideal for time of arrival measurements, peak pressure and total impulse tests, and shock wave velocity analysis.
The Model 137B29B sensor broadens PCB’s current line of single and dual channel ICP® blast pencil probes, and continues to feature a unique pencil shape that allows shock waves to progress smoothly across the sensor, providing distortion free measurements.
