We are currently growing and in need of a 2nd shift Crystals Technician, in Depew, NY. Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 1 to 3 years. Experience must include handling small parts with tweezers under microscope. Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Good eye/hand coordination, good hand dexterity, color perception. Must be able and willing to work with chemicals and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Basic Function: Follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to ISO 9001. Under direct supervision, performs a variety of production tasks that require the ability to follow written/verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment. Understands their role in implementing the ISO 9001 standard and complies with all aspects of the standard. Refers to drawings, routers, and procedures to perform various processes required to produce crystals. Perform in-process inspection and testing of crystals, records data as required. Learn and use microscope, basic tools, fine hand tools, micrometers and various processing and test equipment. Responsible for simple set ups and operation of various equipment per procedure. May operate mixers, presses, lapping machine, plating and poling stations. Shows commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction through dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status. Provides information to supervisor and co-workers to positively affect quality and output. Perform other related duties as directed to ensure efficient operation of department and PCB. Follows established procedures with respect to workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements. |
