Accelerometri ICP® Shock

Gli accelerometri piezoelettrici ICP® offrono un segnale di uscita molto elevato (+/- 5 volt a fondo scala) e la facilità della connettività elettrica a due fili. La loro robustezza intrinseca permette di essere sottoposti a forti escursioni senza subire danni. L'aggiunta di un isolamento meccanico interno riduce al minimo le sollecitazioni ad alta frequenza che altrimenti verrebbero incontrate dagli elementi di rilevamento in ceramica. Questo isolamento meccanico, unito a un filtro elettrico interno a 2 poli, integrato nel circuito ICP®, adatta la risposta complessiva dell'accelerometro per garantire la qualità dei dati fino a frequenze di 10 kHz. A seconda del modello specifico, è possibile misurare con successo accelerazioni superiori a 50 kg. Questi moderni progetti, con i loro materiali interni di isolamento elastomerico, sono stati verificati attraverso la calibrazione per rimanere dinamicamente lineari e stanno consentendo agli accelerometri piezoelettrici di operare in ambienti con accelerazioni sempre più severe.
