Machine Shop Operations Manager

We are a growth-oriented manufacturer of sensors and instrumentation products seeking the right individual to oversee our state-of-the-art Machine Shop. This person will be responsible for increasing throughput, manufacturing quality, process improvements, and overall departmental compliance with corporate objectives.

To be successful in this position will require 8-10 years of supervisory experience, with at least three years in a Machine Shop environment. Hands-on knowledge of N/C milling machines, lathes, and machining centers is required. Solid computer skills, a Lean Manufacturing background, and familiarity with Six Sigma principles are essential. Must have a strong understanding of ISO 9001 procedures and OSHA safety guidelines. A four year technical degree is preferred; an advanced degree is a plus.
