Web Designer

Job Summary:

Design and constructs web pages/sites under the guidance of a Senior Web designer to include incorporating graphic user interface (GUI) features and other techniques.  Maintains and provides ongoing design of the website, promos and ad banners.  Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintain web pages; responsible for design, layout and coding for website.

• Involved with technical and graphical aspects of website—how does it work/look?

• Ongoing investigating of latest web trends and best practices.  Make recommendations on new technologies and methods.

• Responsible for any CPC/Creating landing pages or any content marketing.

• Proficient in Google analytics and  SEO best practices.

• Establish the target audience for a website and identify the type of content to host.

• Write programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing website software and graphics packages to meet business requirements.
• Test the website to identify technical problems.

• Involved with maintenance and update of existing site. 

• Assist in photography and video production. 

• Maintain marketing collateral

• Transform high level marketing concepts into accurate print or digital ready file formats.

• Assists in fulfillment of marketing material for sales and tradeshows

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Bachelors degree in Graphic/Web Design or equivalent specialized training

A minimum 5 years’ experience in web design, graphic design, Photography and copy development

Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Mac based technical skills: Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Quark Express.  (DNN)  Content management systems. Required programming based technical skills: HTML, CSS, JQuery/Java script. PHP and ASPX skills are a plus
