PCB Granted Boeing Supplier Inspection Delegation Approval

for Satellite Systems, El Segundo

Depew, NY, USA - January 28, 2015 - PCB Piezotronics, Inc., has been approved by Boeing Defense, Space & Security to participate in the Supplier Inspection Delegation (SID) program. Delegation approval will allow PCB® to self-inspect hardware procured by Space and Intelligence Systems, removing the requirement for source inspection on purchase contracts.

"PCB's high quality performance and on time delivery contributed to this approval," said Bob Metz, the Director of PCB Piezotronics, Aerospace & Defense Division. As a part of the approval process, PCB Piezotronics met the following criteria:

• Overall rating of bronze or better
• Site quality rating of 99.55% or better
• Approved Quality Management System (QMS)
• No major supplier evaluation reports within past 12 months

Boeing uses PCB's ICP® accelerometers for ground vibration testing and modal analysis of satellites. "Boeing has been a great business partner to work with over the years" said Metz.
