PCB Load & Torque Becomes a Division of PCB Piezotronics

September 29, 2014, Farmington Hills, MI - PCB Load & Torque, Inc., a supplier of load and torque products for test and measurement, has been merged into its parent company, PCB Piezotronics. The integration was the last step in a multi-phase process to fully integrate the company with PCB Piezotronics.

PCB's Load & Torque manufacturing facility in Farmington Hills, Mich., provides high quality, competitively priced precision load cells, torque transducers, telemetry systems, and fastener test and assembly systems for test and measurement applications in industries such as automotive, aerospace and defense, energy, and material testing. The facility also offers calibration services for load, torque and related instrumentation.

Now doing business as PCB Load & Torque Division, they will continue to provide the same product lines with the backing of a much larger company with more resources, and now customers with diverse needs can go to one place for their test and measurement sensors.

PCB Piezotronics supplies microphones, vibration, pressure, force, torque, load, and strain sensors for test, measurement, monitoring, and control requirements. PCB® products are used in industries such as automotive, aerospace, industrial, R&D, military, educational, commercial, and OEM applications.

"This integration happened in carefully planned steps to make sure the businesses were fully aligned and the change would be seamless for our customers," says Jeff Case, Vice President of Michigan operations. "The integration gives Load & Torque the advantage of drawing on the resources and experience of PCB Piezotronics."
