Inventory Control Supervisor

We are currently growing and in need of an Inventory Control Supervisor in our Corporate Headquarters located in Depew, NY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure inventory records reflect necessary information to properly represent PCB’s inventory investment status; manage flow of inventory from point of receipt through finished goods. Develop, document and train inventory control processes and procedures including but not limited to: receipt, put away, pick, issue, transfer, reserve, lot track, cycle count, obsolescence / excess. Collaborate to ensure efficient, effective processes, procedures, labeling, packaging and roles/responsibilities are in place to manage purchased materials, inventory transaction procedures are documented, trained and executed. Monitor work ahead of production cells and manage daily resource allocation to ensure flow of parts to achieve ‘work ahead’ targets per cell across the various kitted and POU areas. Establish schedule, monitor and balance workload assignments for other daily, weekly, quarterly and annual tasks and special projects including coordination with Finance for cycle counting, excess/obsolete inventory management, internal and external inventory audits.  Oversee the execution, recording and results reporting of key programs including but not limited to:  cycle count, job closure, excess/obsolete/out of date, inventory held offsite; customer and/or supplier owned;   establish and execute activities to drive continuous improvement of the programs and record accuracy. Establish and maintain a 5S program in the central inventory area; collaborate to support visual / 5S inventory control. Establish, track, review and report on inventory control related metrics which reflect performance at the individual, department, and company level; identify root cause, develop and execute plans to achieve target goals through continuous improvement.

Bachelor’s degree required, Lean or APICS certification preferred. 3 + years experience supervising 10 or more individuals in job kitting and visual KanBan/pull replenishment environment, lot tracking, high volume, high SKU, in a fast paced manufacturing facility serving commercial and DFAR/ITAR customers required.
