QUALIFICATIONS:
| Education/Training: |
AAS CAD/Drafting or BS in Engineering Technology, or equivalent. |
| Experience: |
5+ years in tool design |
| Other: |
PCB is involved in the development of technology controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. For the purpose of our compliance with U.S. Export Control laws, U.S. citizen or permanent resident/green card is required. |
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promotes teamwork, cooperation and commitment to “Total Customer Satisfaction” among team members.
- Interprets complex mechanical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
- Evaluates product design and manufacturing processes to develop appropriate tooling.
- Develops unique designs for static and kinematic manufacturing tooling devices.
- Creates and modifies mechanical part and assembly designs and drawings.
- Assembles and/or assists/oversees with the construction of manufacturing tooling.
- Provides technical guidance, documentation and training on manufacturing tooling.
- Creates and revises product structures, Bills-of-Material and Design Drawings.
- Works with machine shop and Production personnel and engineers to develop, improve and optimize tool concepts and designs.
