HCD Technician -Depew, NY

We are currently growing and in need of a HCD Technician, in Depew, NY.
Qualifications:
Candidates considered will need to be High School Graduate or equivalent, have a minimum of 1-3 years or equivalent experience. Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation, and will frequently lift materials averaging 10 lbs and weighing up to 50lbs. Must have good eye/hand coordination, manual dexterity, and color perception.
Basic Function:
Follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to ISO 9001. Under direct supervision, perform a variety of tasks that require the ability to follow written/verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
-Promotes teamwork, cooperation and commitment to “Total Customer Satisfaction” among team members-
- Understands their role in implementing the ISO 9001 / AS9100 standard and complies with all aspects of the standard.
- Follows established procedures with respect to workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements, including wearing of all proper PPE when working with production chemicals.
- Refers to drawings, routers, and established specifications to perform simple sub-assemblies on various product lines.
- Performs final inspection of products.
- Learns and uses microscope, basic tools, fine hand tools and inspection processes. During production, may perform such tasks as cleaning, descaling and passivation processes, connector spot welding and product testing.
- Responsible for operating and maintaining equipment such as spot welder, descaling / passivation equipment, vapor degreaser, leak tester and electrical meters.
- Shows commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction through dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status.
- Provides information to supervisor and co-workers to positively affect quality and output.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
