Compensation & Benefits Coordinator

The main responsibility for this role is to support the compensation and benefit function in assisting with programs and projects within the Human Resources Department. Our ideal candidate must have great interpersonal and organizational skills in order to maintain the utmost confidentiality. The Compensation & Benefits Coordinator will also oversee several of PCB’s exciting benefit programs, including Scholarship/Tuition Reimbursement/Orthodontia and much more! Strong computer skills are required to be successful in this role!

Qualifications:

Education/Training: Two year degree with one year experience or Bachelor degree with no experience.
Special Processes: N/A.
Experience: A combination of education and experience; minimum of zero to three years in an administrative support role; preferably in an HR Department.
Physical Demands: Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provides administrative support to the compensation and benefit function.
  2. Regularly assists compensation and benefit function with the preparation of reports, completion of projects, and other special assignments.
  3. Maintain employee files for compensation and benefits, assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality.
  4. Prepares, maintains, and distributes various compensation and benefits reports on a monthly or as needed basis.
  5. Performs various clerical tasks including filing, data entry (e.g., Excel spreadsheets) and maintenance of HRIS system for compensation and benefits information.
  6. Update and maintain wage progression program, forms, and spreadsheets.
  7. Supports the company’s performance management process from a compensation standpoint.
  8. Responsible for ensuring accuracy for compensation and benefit data.
  9. Oversees the Dependent Scholarship program
  10. Oversees the Tuition Reimbursement program.
  11. Oversees the Orthodontia Benefit program.
  12. Administers benefit plans including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  13. Performs other related duties as assigned.
